The 2015 Toyota Corolla is equipped with the Toyota Maintenance Data System. After performing the oil change, the oil change indicator will need to be reset. The reset can be performed by following these instructions:

1. Press the “ENGINE START STOP” switch once (do not start engine) or turn ignition key to run (one position before starting engine).

2. Ensure Trip Metre A reading is shown (use the Trip button for vehicles with a Multi-Information display or DISP for vehicles with a drive monitor display). Turn the ignition off.

3. While pressing the Trip Meter reset button (Multi-Information Display) or while pressing the DISP button (for vehicles with a drive monitor display), press the “ENGINE START STOP” switch once (do not start engine) or turn the key in the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).

4. Continue to press and hold the button until the trip meter displays “000000″.

5 Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

The service interval will be reset to the default setting.*The service interval feature has to be turned on and set by the user by accessing the INFORMATION menu.  Press the MODE (rectangle icon) button on the bottom right of the steering wheel to highlight the INFORMATION menu.  Press the DOWN button to access the SERVICE INTERVAL menu and follow the instructions to turn the SERVICE mode on and set the applicable interval.

4. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Follow these instructions to reset the service light on the 2005 Mercedes CLK320:

1. Turn the ignition to position 1 (one position before starting the engine).

2. Press the system selection button (located on the lower left of the steering wheel) repeatedly until the kilometer reading is shown in the multi information display.)

3. Press the cluster illumination button (lower left of instrument panel) quickly 3 times.  The battery voltage will be displayed and an audible signal will sound.

4. Turn the ignition to position 2.

5. Press the up or down arrows until the service menu appears.  Press the cluster illumination button once.  The oil menu is now displayed.

6. Use the +/- buttons to the select the oil used.  Use the up or down arrows to confirm.  The display will now show”RESET OIL CONFIRMATION.  PUSH R-BUTTON FOR 3 SECONDS.’

7. Press and hold the cluster illumination button for 3 seconds.  The message “SERVICE CONFIRMED” is displayed.

8. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

The 2015 Acura ILX is equipped with the Acura Maintenance Reminder System.  After performing the oil change the oil change indicator will need to be reset.  The reset can be performed by following these instructions:

1. Set the power mode to ON (do not start the engine).

2. Use the INFO (up/down) to highlight the CUSTOMIZE SETTINGS menu and select using the SEL/RESET button.

3. Select the MAINTENANCE INFO menu using the SEL/RESET button.

4. The oil life reset mode is displayed on the multi-information display.

5. Select RESET with the (up/down) button, then press the SEL/RESET button. The displayed maintenance items disappear, and the engine oil life display is reset to 100%.

6. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
