2013 Toyota Avalon

The 2013 Toyota Avalon is offered in a gasoline model.  After performing an oil change the maintenance data can be reset by doing the following:

1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).

2. Ensure trip meter reading A is shown. Turn ignition off.

3. While holding down the trip meter reset knob turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).

4. Continue to press and hold the knob until the trip meter displays “000000″.

5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2013 Acura ZDX

The 2013 Acura ZDX is offered in a gasoline model.  The engine oil will require service when the Maintenance Minder light comes on.  Follow these steps to reset this light:

 1. Turn the ignition to (II) – do not start the engine.

2. Press the SEL/RESET button on the steering wheel repeatedly until engine oil life is displayed.

3. Press and hold the SEL/RESET button for more than 10 seconds.  The remaining engine oil life reset mode will be shown on the multi information display.

4. Select RESET by pressing the INFO (up/down) button, then press the SEL/RESET button to reset the engine oil life display.  The maintenance item code(s) will disappear, and the engine oil life will reset to 100.

5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

*Models equipped with the keyless access system have an engine start/stop button instead of an ignition switch.  Pushing start/stop button once without starting engine is equivalent of ignition (II).

2013 Acura TSX Wagon

The 2013 Acura TSX wagon is offered in a gasoline model.  The engine oil will require service when the Maintenance Minder light comes on.  Follow these steps to reset this light:

1. Turn the ignition to (II) (do not start the engine).

1. Set the power mode to ON (do not start the engine).

2. Use the INFO (up/down) to highlight the CUSTOMIZE SETTINGS menu and select using the SEL/RESET button.

3. Select the MAINTENANCE INFO menu using the SEL/RESET button.

4. The oil life reset mode is displayed on the multi-information display.

5. Select RESET with the (up/down) button, then press the SEL/RESET button.  The displayed maintenance items disappear, and the engine oil life display is reset to 100%.

6. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).

2. Press and hold the SELECT/RESET knob for 10 seconds or more.

3. Turn the SELECT/RESET knob to select oil life.

4. Press and hold the SELECT/RESET knob to enter the oil life reset mode.

5. Press and hold the SELECT/RESET knob for 5 or more seconds to reset the display to 100.

6. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2. If the engine oil life is not displayed, press the SEL/RESET button on the steering wheel repeatedly until it is.

3. Press and hold the SEL/RESET button for more than 10 seconds.  The remaining engine oil life reset mode will be shown on the multi information display.

4. Select RESET by pressing the INFO (up/down) button, then press the SEL/RESET button to reset the engine oil life display.  The maintenance item code(s) will disappear, and the engine oil life will reset to 100.

5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
