2002 Yukon Maintenance Light Reset Instructions

1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
2. Immediately after Step 1 press and release the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds.

Without Driver Information Centre (DIC):

2. *Display the OIL LIFE REMAINING on the DIC (i button). If the vehicle does not have DIC buttons, the vehicle must be in P (Park) to access this display by pressing the trip odometer reset stem.
3. Press and hold the SET/RESET (arrow) button on the DIC, or the trip odometer reset stem if the vehicle does not have DIC buttons for more than 5 seconds. The oil life will change to 100%.
4. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
*Remaining oil life can also be reset by depressing the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds instead of using the DIC.
