2014 Fiat 500 Maintenance Light Reset & Specs

The 2014 Fiat 500 for North America is offered in a gasoline model.  After performing the oil change the maintenance data will need to be reset.  Follow these steps to reset this light:

  1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting the engine).

  2. Fully depress the accelerator pedal slowly three times within 10 seconds.

  3. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

When doing the oil change and topping up fluids you will need to use the following specifications:

Engine Size

4 Cyl. 1.4L/ 1.4L Turbo Gas

Motor Oil

*5W30 or 5W40 Synthetic

*Refer to oil filler cap for correct SAE grade

Oil Capacity w/Filter

4 US qt. (3.8L)

Clutch Fluid

MOPAR DOT 3

Brake Fluid

MOPAR DOT 3

Engine Coolant

MOPAR antifreeze/coolant

Automatic Transmission

MOPAR AW-1 ATF

Manual Transmission

MOPAR C635 DDCT/MTX
