2013 Honda Accord Maintenance Light Reset & Fluids

The 2013 Honda Accord is offered in a gasoline model.  The engine oil will require service when the Maintenance Minder light comes on.  Follow these steps to reset this light:

  1. Press the Start/Stop button once (do not start the engine).

  2. Press the (up/down) button on the steering wheel to select Vehicle Settings, the press the SEL/RESET button.

  3. Press the (up/down) button until Maintenance Reset appears on the display (the oil life reset mode is displayed on the multi information display).

  4. Select Reset by pressing the (up/down) button, then press the SEL/RESET button to reset the engine oil life display.  The maintenance item codes will disappear and the engine oil life will reset to 100.

  5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

When doing the oil change and topping up fluids you will need to use the following specifications:

      There are a number of different ways to reset this model based on what options you have. The easiest way might be through the TRIP button. Take a look at the updated photos we’ve added to this posting based on your question.

  1. I have a 2013 and just reset to 100% but not off the steering wheel. I have a EX and it worked only from the dashboard screen but was a piece of cake once you go to Vehicle, then Maintenance.
