2013 Toyota Sequoia Maintenance Light Reset & Specs

2013 Toyota SequoiaThe 2013 Toyota Sequoia is offered in a gasoline model.  After performing an oil change the maintenance data will need to be reset.  Follow these steps to reset this light:

1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).

2. Ensure Trip Metre A reading is shown.  Turn the ignition off.

3. While holding down the trip meter reset knob turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).

Without multi-information display

4. Continue to press and hold the button until the trip meter displays “000000”.

With multi-information display

4. Continue to press and hold the button until “MAINT REQD RESET MODE COMPLETE” appears on the multi-information display.

5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

When doing the oil change and topping up fluids you will need to use the following specifications:

8 Cyl. 5.7L Gas

0W20

Oil Capacity w/Filter

7.9 US qt. (7.5L)

Brake Fluid

Dot 3

Engine Coolant

Toyota Super Long Life Coolant

Automatic Transmission

Toyota Genuine ATF WS

Front Differential

Toyota Genuine Differential gear oil LT

75W-85 GL-5 or equivalent

Rear Differential

Toyota Genuine Differential gear oil LT

75W-85 GL-5 or equivalent

Transfer Case

SAE 75W90
