Follow these instructions to reset the Service Required light on the 2014 Kia Cadenza:

1. Start the engine.

2. If a service is due the display will show “Service required”.  To reset this message, locate and press the DOWN button located at the bottom right of the steering wheel for more than 1 second.

3. The service interval will be reset to the default setting.*The service interval feature has to be turned on and set by the user by accessing the INFORMATION menu.  Press the MODE (rectangle icon) button on the bottom right of the steering wheel to highlight the INFORMATION menu.  Press the DOWN button to access the SERVICE INTERVAL menu and follow the instructions to turn the SERVICE mode on and set the applicable interval.

4. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
