1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
2. Press the TRIP button on the DIC switch to view various menu choices and stop on OIL LIFE REMAINING. A message will display the % of oil life remaining.
3. Press and hold the RESET button on the DIC switch for at least 2 seconds. A message will display the % of oil life remaining as 99 percent.
4. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
