With Driver Information Centre (DIC):
1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
2. Press the OPTION button on the DIC until ENGINE OIL MONITOR appears on the DIC screen.
3. Press the SET/RESET button to reset the system. The next screen indicates that the CHANGE OIL SOON message has been reset. If the vehicle has the up level DIC
4. Turn the ignition off and start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Without Driver Information Centre:
1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
2. Immediately after Step 1 press and release the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds.
3. Turn the ignition to off.
4. Start the engine and verify CHANGE OIL SOON light goes out.
