2010 MERCEDES C-Class Maintenance Light Reset Instructions

12 Button Steering Wheel
1. Turn the ignition to position 1 (one position before starting the engine).
2. Press the system selection button (left button on left steering wheel controls) repeatedly until the kilometer reading is shown in the multi information display.)
3. Press the system selection button (located on the far left of the steering wheel) repeatedly until the menu item “trip” with highlighter is stored in the multi-function display. *Trip remains selected for 5 seconds so you need to move to step 4.
4. First press and hold the accept phone call button and within 1 second also press and hold the OK button for 5 seconds. The workshop menu will appear in the display showing “vehicle data, dynamometer test, and ASSYST PLUS”.
5. Press the scroll forward button (lower button on left steering wheel controls) to highlight “Full Service” and then confirm by pressing OK button.
6. Press scroll forward button (lower button on left steering wheel controls) to highlight “Confirm Service” and then confirm by pressing OK button.
7. Select specification of oil used using scroll forward and confirm with the OK button.
8. Press scroll forward button until “YES” is highlighted and confirm swith OK button. “No take-back possible” appears.
9. Press scroll forward button until “Confirmation” is highlighted and confirm with OK button. “Full service carried out” appears.
10. Press OK button and back button (standalone button on left steering wheel controls) repeatedly until the menus are exited.
11. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

4 Button Steering Wheel
1. Turn the ignition to position 1 (one position before starting the engine).
2. Press the system selection button (top left button on left steering wheel controls) repeatedly until the kilometer reading is shown in the multi information display.)
3. Press and hold button “R” and within 1 second press and hold “+” button. Continue to hold for 5 seconds and the voltage indicator will display.
4. Press system selection button and “ASSYST PLUS” appears in the display.
5. Press button “R”. “Service data” appears in the display.
6. Press system selection button “Full service” appears in the display.
7. Press button “R”. The current services appear in the display. Press the system selection button repeatedly until “Confirm service” appears in the display.
8. Press button “R”. “Service completed?” will appear in the display.
9. Select oil specifiation used and confirm.
10. Press the “+” button. “No take-back” appears in the display. Press the “+” button and “Full service carried out” appears in the display.
11. Press the system select button repeatedly to exit the menu.
12. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
