2000 PONTIAC Grand Prix Maintenance Light Reset Instructions

With Driver Information Centre:
1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
2. Press the trip calculator MODE button until the light appears next to OIL LIFE.
3. Press and hold the trip calculator RESET button until the oil life percentage changes to 100%.
4. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Without Driver Information Centre:
1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
2. Immediately after Step 1 press and release the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. If the CHANGE OIL SOON indicator flashes 2 times, the system is reset.
3. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
