To reset the 2001 Volvo S80 service required indicator, please follow these instructions:

1. Turn the ignition switch to position I.
2. Press in the TRIP METER RESET button. Ignition position II.
3. When the TRIP METER RESET button has been pressed for 10 seconds, the SRL lamp starts to flash.
4. Release the TRIP METER RESET button within 5 seconds. Audible beep will be heard when resetting has been done successfully.
5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
