2013 Toyota Highlander HV Maintenance Light Reset & Specs

The 2013 Toyota Highlander HV is offered in a gasoline hybrid model.  After performing an oil change the maintenance data will need to be reset.  Follow these steps to reset this light:

1. Press the “POWER” switch once (do not start engine).

2.Turn off the hybrid system with the trip meter A reading shown.

3. Ensure Trip Metre A reading is shown.  Turn the ignition off.

4. While holding down the trip meter reset knob the “POWER” switch must be set in ON mode (do not start engine).  A message “COMPLETE” will appear on the multi information display.

5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

When doing the oil change and topping up fluids you will need to use the following specifications:

Engine Size

6 Cyl. 3.5L Gas

Motor Oil

0W20

Oil Capacity w/Filter

6.4 US qt. (6.1L)

Brake Fluid

Dot 3

Engine Coolant

Toyota Super Long Life Coolant

Automatic Transmission

Toyota Genuine ATF WS
