The 2013 Toyota Prius C is offered in a hybrid gasoline model.  After performing an oil change the maintenance data will need to be reset.  Follow these steps to reset this light:

1. Press the “ENGINE START STOP” switch once (do not start engine).

2. Ensure odometer reading is shown.  Turn ignition off.

3. Press the “ENGINE START STOP” switch once (do not start engine).  The multi-information screen will be displayed for a few seonds.  While it is being displayed press the TRIP switch 3 times and hold it on the third time.

4. Continue to press and hold the button until the trip meter displays “000000”.

5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

 When doing the oil change and topping up fluids you will need to use the following specifications:

Engine Size

4 Cyl. 1.5L Gas

Motor Oil

0W20

Oil Capacity w/Filter

3.6 US qt. (3.4L)

Brake Fluid

Dot 3

Engine Coolant

Toyota Super Long Life Coolant

Automatic Transmission

Toyota Genuine ATF WS
