The 2013 VW Touareg is offered in a diesel, gasoline or hybrid engine. The engine oil will require service when the Service Interval has reached its limit. Follow these steps to reset this light:
1) Close the hood, trunk and all doors.
2) Press the START/STOP button to start the engine.
3) Press the CAR button.
4) Press the Service button.
5) Press the Service Interval Reset button and confirm.
6) The new service interval will be displayed.
7) Turn the ignition off.
8) Start the engine to verify the reset is complete.

with this way the ‘service information’ is resetted, but the ‘inspection information’ is always present and is impossible to erase.

The inspection information you are referring to is related to VW mechanical service. It’s our understanding when the correct maintenance is performed the inspection information can be reset with a diagnostic tool.
