2017 Cadillac ATS

To reset the 2017 Cadillac ATS remaining oil life % after an oil change service, please follow these instructions:

1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
2. *Use the DIC controls on the right side of the steering wheel to display the REMAINING OIL LIFE.
3. Press SEL on the DIC controls.
4. Hold SEL down for a few seconds to reset the oil life to 100%.
5. Turn the ignition off and start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
*Remaining oil life can also be reset by depressing the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds instead of using the DIC.

2008 BMW X5

1. Turn ignition to Terminal 15 which is one turn of the key or one press of the START/STOP button.
2. Press and hold the Instrument Cluster Set/Reset button for 10 seconds.
3. The upper display in the Instrument Cluster will be illuminated with a Service Item. The lower display in the Instrument Cluster will indicate the remaining time or mileage left for that Service Item. Pressing the button repeatedly will allow the display to scroll through all of the Condition Based Service Items.
4. Press and hold the Instrument Cluster Set/Reset button again and the lower display screen will indicate "OK" or "DUE".
5. Pressing the Instrument Cluster Set/Reset button again will allow the "RESET" to appear in the lower window for that service. Releasing and reapplying the button one more time will reset the service displayed in the upper window only.
6. Turn the ignition off and start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2017 Buick Enclave

To reset the 2017 Buick Enclave remaining oil life % after an oil change service, please follow these instructions:

1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
2. Press the vehicle information button (i) until OIL LIFE REMAINING displays.
3. Press and hold the SET/RESET (check mark) button until 100% is displayed. You will hear 3 chimes and the CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON message will go off.
4. Start the engine and verify CHANGE OIL SOON light goes out (if this does not happen, turn off the engine and repeat steps).

To reset the 2017 Buick Envision remaining oil life % after an oil change, please follow these instructions:

1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
2. Use the UP/DOWN arrow buttons on the right side of the steering wheel to display the OIL LIFE display.
3. Press and hold the SET/RESET (check mark) button until 100% is displayed.
4. Turn the ignition off and start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

BMW recommends the use of a reset tool.

2017 Buick Encore

To reset the 2017 Buick Encore remaining oil life % after an oil change service, please follow these instructions:

1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
2. Press the MENU button on the turn signal lever to show the Remaining Oil Life on the display.
3. To reset the engine oil life system, press the SET/CLR button on the turn signal lever while the oil life display is visible. After a few seconds, there will be a single chime and the oil life will be reset to 100%
4. Turn the ignition off and start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2. Press the DIC menu button on the turn signal lever to enter the vehicle information menu. Use the thumbwheel to scroll through the menu items until you reach REMAINING OIL LIFE.
3. Press the SET/CLR button to reset the oil life to 100%.
4. Turn the ignition off and start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
