To reset the 2017 GMC Canyon remaining oil life % after an oil change service, please follow these instructions:

1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
*2. Use the Arrows on the right side of the steering wheel to scroll to the Options menu and select with (check mark) followed by Remaining Oil Life and select with (check mark)
3. Press and hold (check mark) on the DIC while the Oil Life display is active. The oil life will change to 100%.
4. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
*Remaining oil life can also be reset by depressing the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds instead of using the DIC.
