Honda Maintenance Minder System

Maintenance Window

As a result of a question raised by Brad.  I thought I would share with you how the Honda Maintenance Minder system is structured and how it is reset.  Not only does this system tell you when to change the oil (based on Honda’s recommendations) but also when to service other items (based on Honda’s recommendations).

When the service symbol appears in the dash or you notice a code for a service you can reset it the exact same way you would the oil change service reminder.  These codes will appear in the maintenance window with either a letter or a number.  Have a look at the chart showing what each means.  In your case Brad, if the transmission fluid is recommended to be changed you should see the number 3 and if an oil change is required either the letter A or B.  If multiple codes are on screen, then you will have to reset each code individually.
