To reset the 2017 Ford Transit Connect oil life after an oil change service, please follow these instructions:

1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
2. Press the brake and gas pedals at the same time; after 3 seconds the “Service: Oil reset in prog.” message will appear and after 25 seconds the “Service: Oil reset complete” message will appear.
3. Release the brake and gas pedals.
4. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
