1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
2. Press and hold the OIL RESET button in the glove box for at least 5 seconds, but no more than 60 seconds.
3. After 5 seconds, observe the CHANGE OIL SOON light flash 4 times before light the turns off. This indicates that the engine oil life monitor system has reset.
4. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
