To reset the 1999 Volvo V70 service reminder indicator, please follow these instructions:

1. Turn the ignition switch to position I.
2. Press in trip meter RESET button. Turn ignition to position II.
3. When the TRIP METER RESET button has been pressed for 10 seconds, the SRL lamp starts to flash.
4. Release the TRIP METER RESET button within 4 seconds. The instrument produces a sound when resetting has been done successfully.
5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
