The 2014 Fiat 500 for North America is offered in a gasoline model.  After performing the oil change the maintenance data will need to be reset.  Follow these steps to reset this light:

1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting the engine).

2. Fully depress the accelerator pedal slowly three times within 10 seconds.

3. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

When doing the oil change and topping up fluids you will need to use the following specifications:

1. Turn the ignition to run (do not start the engine).

2. Press the UP or DOWN part of the INFO switch to highlight the SETTINGS menu and press the INFO button to confirm.

3. Scroll to MAINTENANCE and press the INFO button to confirm.

4. Scroll to the item that needs to be reset  (SCHEDULED, TIRE ROTATION, TIRE PRESSURE) and confirm with the INFO button.

5. Scroll to SET TIME or SET DISTANCE and confirm with the INFO button.

6. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

The 2014 Honda Accord sedan/coupe is offered in a gasoline model.  After performing an oil change the maintenance data will need to be reset using this method for vehicles without the multi-information display:

1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).

2. Display the engine oil life by repeatedly pressing the SELECT/RESET knob.

3. With the oil life displayed, press and hold the SELECT/RESET knob for 10 seconds.  The engine oil life indicator and the maintenance codes blink.

4. Press the SELECT/RESET knob for 5 seconds.  The maintenance codes will disappear and the oil life will reset to 100%.

5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Reset for vehicles with the multi-information display: 

1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).

2. Press the (up/down) button to select Vehicle Settings, then press the SEL/RESET button.

3. Press the (up/down) button until Maintenance Reset appears on the display.

4. Press the SEL/RESET button - the oil life reset mode is displayed on the multi-information display.

5. Select Reset with the (up/down) button, then press the SEL/RESET button. The displayed maintenance items disappear, and the engine oil life display returns to 100%.

6. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
