1. Turn the ignition to ON (one position before starting engine).

2. Ensure odometer reading is shown.  Turn ignition off.

3. While holding down the trip meter reset knob turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).

4. Hold down knob for at least 5 seconds.  The odometer indicates "000000" and the light goes off.  If the system fails to reset, the light will continue flashing.

5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

To reset the 2011 Volkswagen Jetta, you may have 3 options depending on the package the vehicle is equipped with:

Using the instrument cluster buttons:

1. Turn the ignition off.

2. Press and hold the 0,0 button (located to the right of the instrument cluster).

3. Turn the igntion on (do not start the engine) and release the 0,0 button.  Briefly press the double square button (located to the left of the instrument cluster).

4. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2. Use the rocker switch on the windshield wiper lever to select "Settings" and confirm with button underneath windshield wiper lever.

3. Select the "Settings" menu followed by the "Service" submenu.  Select "Reset" and confirm.

4. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

3. Use the buttons on the right hand side of the multi function steering wheel

4. Select the "Settings" menu followed by the "Service" submenu.  Select "Reset" and confirm.

Immediately after Step 1 press and release the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds.  If the Change Engine Oil light is flashing, the system is reset.  The light will flash for up to 30 seconds or until the ignition is turned off.  If the light comes on again and stays on for 30 seconds at the next engine start, it did not reset.  You will need to reset the system again.

1.Start the engine.
2. If a service is due the display will show "Service required". To reset this message, press the SELECT/RESET button (left pointing arrow) on the bottom right of the steering wheel for more than 1 second.
3. The service interval will be reset to the default setting.
*The service interval feature has to be turned on and set by the user by accessing the SERVICE INTERVAL menu. Press the MODE button (rectangle icons) on the bottom right of the steering wheel to highlight the SERVICE INTERVAL menu. Press the SELECT/RESET button to access the menu and use the DOWN arrow to turn the SERVICE mode on and set the applicable interval.

The 2015 Toyota Corolla is equipped with the Toyota Maintenance Data System. After performing the oil change, the oil change indicator will need to be reset. The reset can be performed by following these instructions:

1. Press the "ENGINE START STOP" switch once (do not start engine) or turn ignition key to run (one position before starting engine).

2. Ensure Trip Metre A reading is shown (use the Trip button for vehicles with a Multi-Information display or DISP for vehicles with a drive monitor display). Turn the ignition off.

3. While pressing the Trip Meter reset button (Multi-Information Display) or while pressing the DISP button (for vehicles with a drive monitor display), press the "ENGINE START STOP" switch once (do not start engine) or turn the key in the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
