To reset the 2016 Chevrolet SS Sedan remaining oil life % after an oil change, please follow these instructions:
1. Press the Start/Stop button once (do not start the engine). 2. *Press the DIC MENU button on the turn signal lever to enter the Vehicle Information Menu. 3. Use the thumbwheel to scroll through the menu items until you reach REMAINING OIL LIFE. 4. Press the SET/CLR button to reset the oil life at 100%. 5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset. *Remaining oil life can also be reset by depressing the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds instead of using the DIC.
