To reset the 2016 Mitsubishi i-MiEV service light after an oil change, please follow these instructions:

1. Turn the ignition on (do not start the engine)
2. Push the TRIP reset button to view the driving distance or number of months remaining until the next periodic inspection.
3. Give the TRIP reset button a long push (at least 2 seconds) to make the spanner mark start flashing. (If you do not touch the reset button for about 10 seconds while the spanner mark is flashing, the display will revert to its original indication.)
4. Give the reset button a gentle push while the spanner mark is flashing. The “- —–” indication will change to “cLEAr”.
5. The driving distance or number of months remaining until the next periodic inspection will be shown.
6. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
