To reset the 2016 Nissan Maxima maintenance settings after an oil change, please follow these instructions:

1. Start the engine.
2. Use the LEFT or RIGHT arrows on the steering wheel to highlight the SETTINGS menu and press ENTER.
3. Select MAINTENANCE and press ENTER.
4. From the MAINTENANCE menu select OIL and follow the prompts and do the same for the FILTER.
5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
