To reset the 2016 Volvo XC90 service reminder indicator after an oil change, please follow these instructions:

1. Set the vehicle to ‘Convenience’ mode by quickly turning the start knob to START (without pressing any pedals).
2. Press the (-) button left steering wheel keypad for cruise control speed and keep it pressed.
3. Set the vehicle to ‘Driving’ by turning on the engine.
4. After 10 seconds of pressing the (-) button the information symbol in the instrument display starts to flash.
5. Release the (-) button 1-4 seconds after the flashing starts. An acknowledgement message is shown.
6. Turn the engine off and re-start to verify the indicator has been reset.
