1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
2. Press ENG MET button on the trip monitor and release, then press and release again within 5 seconds.
3. Within 5 seconds of step 2, press and hold GAUGES button on trip monitor.
4. Hold GAUGES button until change oil lamp stops flashing and goes out.
5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
