4. While holding down the trip meter reset knob the “POWER” switch must be set in ON mode (do not start engine). A message “OIL MILEAGE RESET MODE" will appear on the display.
5. Hold down the knob for at least 5 seconds. A message “COMPLETE” will appear and the message “OIL MILEAGE RESET MODE" goes off.
6. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
