To reset the 1999 Pontiac Firebird oil change light, please follow these instructions:

1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
2. Press the TRIP/OIL RESET button on the instrument panel for 12 seconds. The CHANGE OIL light will
start to flash to confirm that the system is reset when the flashing stops the system is reset.
3. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
