To reset the 2001 Volvo V40 service reminder indicator, please follow these instructions:

1. Turn off ignition.
2. Press and hold in the RESET button for the trip odometer, turn ignition on within 2 seconds.
3. Press and hold the RESET button for the trip odometer until the information lamp lights up. Release the RESET button for the trip odometer within 4 seconds.
4. Audible beep will be heard when resetting has been successful and the SRI light urns off.
5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
