2004 HONDA S2000 Maintenance Light Reset Instructions

The 2004 Honda s2000 is equipped with a maintenance required (MAINT REQ’D) indicator. This light comes on when the distance driven since the last scheduled maintenance reaches 6,000 miles (9,600km), the indicator starts blinking. If you exceed 7,500 miles (12,000km), the indicator stays on.

2004 Honda s2000 Maintenance Required Indicator

1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Press and hold the TRIP METRE RESET button while you turn the ignition switch to run (one position before starting engine).
3. Continue holding the button until the indicator resets (indicator light goes out).
4. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
