2006 Mercury Grand Marquis

The 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis oil change light comes on at fixed intervals. When the engine oil life remaining is 5% or less, a “CHANGE ENGINE OIL” message is displayed. As the oil life decreases and reaches between 5% and 0%, a “CHANGE OIL SOON” message will appear. Once the oil life reaches 0%, an “OIL CHANGE REQUIRED” message will be displayed.

An oil change is necessary when indicated by the message center and according to the recommended maintenance schedule. Use only the engine oils recommended by the manufacturer.
