The 2014 Volkswagen Jetta service reminder light comes on when the vehicle is due or past due for an oil change service. After performing an oil change, please follow these instructions to reset the service reminder light:
1) With the ignition turned off, press the 0,0 SET button and hold it pressed.
2) Switch on the ignition. Release the 0,0 SET button and press the double square button within 20 seconds.
3) After a brief period, the display switches back to the normal display.
Text cluster instrument display:
1) With the ignition turned off, press the 0,0 SET button and hold it pressed.
2) Switch on the ignition. Release the 0,0 SET button.
3) The confirmation request appears in the instrument cluster display.
4) Press the OK button on the windshield wiper lever or steering wheel. After a brief period, the display switches back to the normal display.
5) Turn the ignition off and start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
