The 2014 Volkswagen Golf service required light comes on when the vehicle is due or past due for an oil change service.  After performing an oil change, follow these instructions to reset the service reminder light:

1) With the ignition turned off, hold the 0.0 button pressed.

2) Switch on the ignition. Wait until “Reset oil change service?” appears in the display.
3) Release the button 0.0 button. The service interval display is now in reset mode.
4) Push the 0.0 button once shortly. After a brief period, the display switches back to the normal dis?
play.
5) Turn the ignition off and start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
