To reset the 2016 BMW Z4 service required light after an oil change, please follow these instructions:
1. Press the start/stop button once (do not start the engine) 2. Press and hold the Set/Reset button for 10 seconds until the service indicator light appears. Press the button on the indicator switch to scroll the maintenance menu. 3. To reset, press the button on the indicator switch until the word ‘RESET’ appears. Confirm you want to reset by pressing and holding the indicator switch button. 4. A clock is displayed during resetting and a check mark is displayed after ‘RESET’ is successful. 5. Turn the ignition off. Start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
