To reset the 2016 Cadillac CT6 remaining oil life after an oil change, please follow these instructions:

1. Turn the ignition on (do not start the engine).
2. Using the DIC buttons (right side of steering wheel), display REMAINING OIL LIFE on the DIC.
3. Press and hold SEL to clear the CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON message and reset the oil life at 100%.
4. Turn the ignition off. Start the engine and verify the indicator has been reset.

or

1. Turn the ignition on (do not start the engine).
2. Fully press and release the accelerator pedal three times within five seconds.
If the CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON message is not on, the system is reset.
3. Turn the ignition off. Start the engine and verify the indicator has been reset.
