1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting the engine).
2. Select trip meter A reading by using the trip meter button and then turn the ignition off.
3. While pressing the trip meter reset button, turn the ignition switch to run (one position before starting the engine).
4. Continue to press and hold the button until the trip meter displays "000000".
5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

The 2014 Scion iQ maintenance required light comes on when the vehicle is coming due or past due for an oil change service.  To reset the 2014 Scion iQ maintenance required light, follow these instructions:

1. With the engine running switch the display to trip metre A. Turn the engine off.
2. While pressing the MODE button, turn the engine switch to the ON position (do not start the engine or the reset process will be cancelled). Continue to press and hold the button until the trip metre displays "000000".
3. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
2. Press and release the DOWN arrow button to scroll downward through the main menu to “Vehicle Info”.
3. Press and release the RIGHT arrow button to access the ”Oil Life” screen.
4. Press and release the DOWN arrow button to select “Reset”, then press and release the Right arrow button to select reset of the Oil Life to 100%.
5. Press and release the Up arrow button to exit the EVIC screen.
6. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to veirfy the indicator has been reset.
