The 2015 Chevrolet Cruze engine oil life light comes on when the vehicle is coming due or past due for an oil change service. After completing an oil change service, follow these instructions to reset the engine oil life system to 100%:
1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
2. Press the DIC menu button on the turn signal lever to enter the vehicle information menu. Use the thumbwheel to scroll through the menu items until you reach REMAINING OIL LIFE.
3. Press the SET/CLR button to reset the oil life to 100%. When prompted select YES or NO. Press the SET/CLR button to confirm.
4. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
